Here at Comfort Care At Home we’re award-winning because of our high-quality care, but we’ve also won awards for the training and development of our staff.
We don’t just offer carer jobs, we’re here to offer positions as care assistants (because that’s the high standard we believe in).
If you’re based in Surrey and are looking for a care worker role, read on to find what makes us different.
We are looking for care assistants who are kind, caring and committed to making a genuine difference to the quality of life of our clients.
As a care assistant, you will support clients with tasks such as bathing, preparing meals, taking medication, giving them companionship and taking them out.
Our goal is to help our clients stay as independent as possible, so they can continue living safely in their own homes.
We launched in 2018 with the goal of delivering the highest standards of care to those in need. We help the people we care for to live safer, happier and more fulfilling lives in their own homes.
We’ve won multiple awards over the years for the quality of care that we deliver, as well as for how we recruit, train, and develop our staff.
We provide ongoing support to our staff and develop them so they can grow in their roles and progress in their careers.
As one of our Surrey-based care workers or care assistants, we offer you a contract with guaranteed hours from 8-35 hours a week (depending on your availability). We work around your availability to suit your lifestyle and personal commitments.
Unlike most care companies, we pay you for travel time, mileage, training, pension and holidays. We pay up to £15 per hour for our care assistant roles.
You don’t need any experience or qualifications to become one of our care assistants. What’s important to us is the values you hold, as we can teach you the skills. You need a passion for helping others and should pride yourself on providing outstanding care. You will be reliable, trustworthy and responsible. You must also feel comfortable engaging in conversation with others.
Our training consists of online e-learning modules and face-to-face training and shadowing.
You will always shadow each client before you see them alone.
Our training is continuous and we have monthly staff meetings and trainings.
“I booked this company on a temporary basis as my usual carer had to go abroad for family reasons. I was apprehensive about the change but couldn’t be more delighted with the service. The carer I had the most dealings with always arrived on time with a smile on her face.
She made me feel very comfortable too and we built up a good rapport. As I live on my own it is important that I enjoy the company of my carers. I should also add that the other carer was also very attentive and professional. Each person was always prepared to do more than I expected.” – Elizabeth B (Client)
“I am paralysed and need help with everyday activities in order to maintain my independence. The carers from this Home Care agency were by far the most professional and competent carers that I have had experience with, in the last 12 years.
I very much appreciated their attention to detail and their considerate approach. They clearly aim to understand their clients’ needs and wishes and as well as being incredibly helpful, they were a pleasure to have in the house.” – Nina H (Client)
“I have been looking for a competent company. I appreciate the emphasis they put on getting to know what makes me comfortable. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who would like their life made better. They are a pleasure and always cheer me up.” – Sarah W (Client)
We’re also recruiting for carers in South West London and Surrey. Please see our dedicated pages for the available roles in those areas.
