Where do I start with care at home?

Taking the first step to accepting care can be daunting for anyone. We make the process as smooth as possible, and start with baby steps understanding that your loved ones may be reluctant to accept care. Sometimes, clients feel they can manage on their own and they start with 1 or 2 visits per week, this quickly grows as they develop a relationship with their care professional and enjoy the visits. Importantly, their needs also change over time.

The process to start is simple:

first step to getting care at home

We have an initial conversation so we can understand your loved ones’ needs.

second step to at home support

We meet with your loved ones in person to get to know them, their likes, dislikes, hobbies and to assess their home environment and ensure that the care professional is aware of any potential safety hazards.  We then develop a detailed care plan that is focused on the needs of your loved ones.

final and third step to at home care

We match your loved ones to our care professionals and recommend them based on your loved ones’ personality and needs. We believe in long-term, meaningful relationships, we can also change your care professional if your needs or interests change. Our Care Manager conducts regular quality assurance visits to review your loved ones’ needs and adapt their care plan if required.
